Our Mission

Saint Michael Parish School exists to provide a Catholic education committed to the mission of Saint Michael Parish, excellence in teaching and learning, and the continual spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and aesthetic growth of all.

Pre Kindergarten

Pre K for four-year-old students at St. Michael Parish School is a five day per week Kindergarten readiness program. The program is designed for children planning to attend Kindergarten the following year. Pre K students must be four years of age by August 31st to start in September of the coming school year.

First Grade

Students in First Grade are learning to love to read. Each child grows according to his or her developmental readiness. First Graders express their love for God, their neighbors, and the world as they grow in their faith throughout the year.

The Kindergarten curriculum is developed around what is important to the Kindergarten child.  The units and weekly themes integrate subject matter across the curriculum. Activities and lessons are designed to meet all levels of abilities.

Second Grade

Second Graders at St. Mikes become more independent readers, writers, and mathematicians. They deepen their faith as they prepare to celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.

Third Grade

Third grade is a transitional year for the students as they move from primary to intermediate, and take on more responsibility and ownership for their own learning.  Looking through a 3rd grader’s eyes, some of the highlights of the year include being able to use a planner like the older students, learning multiplication and division.

Fifth Grade

Fifth grade at Saint Michael Parish School is the last year in the elementary school.  It is full of memorable moments of learning, faith and service.

All St. Michael Students experience a well rounded education that includes instruction in Music, Physical Education, and Technology. Students are supported by loving teachers who help to grow and develop the individual talents God has given them.

Fourth Grade

Fourth Graders have an enthusiastic outlook toward learning and use their creativity and imagination as they make connections to the world around them. Students in 4th grade study the Ten Commandments, learn to live out the Beatitudes and  have the opportunity become altar servers.

Middle School

St. Michael Middle School students demonstrate self-monitoring skills and self-motivation to meet the demands of a rigorous academic environment. They thrive in our safe and nurturing community where they are given the opportunity to connect with teachers and peers through sports, the arts, and their Saint Houses.
